Yes yes my third post today, I am doing so much hard work.. :P No, I just wanted to tell that besides the happiness in my heart of seeing all of you again ;) the trip to Maastricht also gave me some scientific advantages.. Fabrizio gave me his new bold latency mapping plug-in (no I won't tell details :P) so now I can try to finish my "old" data.. And I have talked with Elia and Fabrizio about the new experiment. It became clear that Francesco hadn't fully understood Elia when he explained what he wanted to do, so that's why we set up this whole face-perception study. However, Elia and Niko had already done this, so it was not usefull at all for us to do this again hehe.. so we will focus on imagery. Hehe so that was exactly what I understood from Elia all along, but because I didn't know what Niko and Elia had done exactly and Francesco and Fabrizio pressed for perception, I thought, well it is ok to start from that.. But now it is all clear again, so I am happy about that.. Even though I can throw half of my work of the last three weeks away.. I'm happy that Elia is always relaxed and doesn't want to rush into things, like the way it was going now.. It was just that we have to show the people here that we are doing something, before Francesco leaves for Maastricht. So now I know all that, I know what I am doing again hahaha.. That helps not to stress :)
So I can work both on my old data and on the design for the new data, but not try to finish it all within the week hahaha..

And furthermore I was really happy to do some nice things together with everyone! Even though I had only been gone for three weeks, it felt so much longer, and (i don't know if it's true ;)) it felt like some of you experienced it like that too.. So, many happy reunions.. :) I really liked to hang around with everyone a bit in the evenings.. and even a party and some evenings going out, really what I missed here.. And also being home with my family all together was really nice :) Too bad I have to miss the two upcoming birthdays!
Well, I just wanted to say thanks (again :P) to everyone who thought of me and hung around with me! I will be back soon (*i hope* hehe)!
(Next time no surprises ok? hehe I don't want to risk anyone getting a heart-attack.. Especially Jasper not :P Hehe I should have taken pictures of everyones faces :D)
