changes

So with my permanent stay here in Maastricht and the increased feeling of detachment I decided to make some changes.. First of all, I took the day off on thursday and decided to completely change my room. I moved almost every piece of furniture, took all the stuff out of my closets, sow (wat is de verleden tijd van zagen??) off a piece of my table (multiple pieces actually) etc.. It's still a mess. But cool, different. I also decided to cut my hair, 'cause I was tired of my "cute" long hair. With work I have now started a new analysis, (Granger causality) and my family was so nice to stand model for my face stimuli :) So I'm finally going somewhere..
I've also started a photography course at the Kumulus, since it was always a bit of a passion of mine. The first lesson was a bit disappointing, because the other participants are really reálly beginners. Never took any photographs, don't know what kind of camera they own, but always wanted to learn. I mean, I am also a beginner, but i've always taken photographs.. But maybe it will be fine, let's see! I'm at least very happy to do something new and creative, because I feel like there is no depth in my life at the moment and I hate that..
So lot's of new things!

I think I will just keep this blog for putting on links to pictures, or telling my Maastricht stories, because it looks like I'm not going back to Pisa for a while. On saterday I had a work meeting with Elia and Francesco (on saterday because that was the only day that they were both in Maastricht) at the Coffeelovers (hahaha yes, why at the uni?). But when I got there, the whole Italian delegation was sitting there, Fabrizio, Elia, Francesco, Federico and Giancarlo hehe.. So it was more a social gathering than an actual meeting hahaha, ofcourse.. But it was nice.. I like those guys a lot.. We even talked a bit about the experiment (repeating once again what we had discussed many times before hihihi) and Elia and Francesco concluded that I might as well let go of my room in Pisa. So that was nice, even though I didn't really mind anymore going there and seeing Ilaria, Lucia and Nicola.. It seemed that other people were more enthousiastic than me :) But when I was walking through the city sunday, I did feel quite releaved. So I think it is good for me not to travel back and forth all the time and losing my two homes again and again. I was starting not to feel at home anywhere anymore.. So good news actually. Elia is even helping me with all sorts of work related stuff, getting me a computer and things like that, so that is very nice of him! Now I will become a real PhD hahaha.

wrong but right

Still no pictures ofcourse hehe :) My scanner is kind of crappy (unless I use a special mode, but then it takes 5 minutes per photo), so I will have to do it in an empty weekend (this one for example hihi). But to make up for it, some pictures from Marin's birthday party.. Was quite a lot of fun (except for some puking and passing out :P NOT by me)
